Welcome to the LienLog, LLC (“LienLog,” “us” or “we”) Web site located at <> (“Site”). This Privacy Statement (the “Policy”) addresses and explains LienLog’s practices regarding information collected from its users of the Site.  Except as expressly set forth in this Policy, these provisions are solely intended to address information that we collect via the Site from our users, and not user information that we may collect from any off-line sources. This Policy also addresses how we collect information based on your interactions with our online ads both on our Site and on other websites.  This Policy is incorporated into LienLog's Terms of Use by reference, as if set forth fully therein, which must be reviewed and accepted by you. 


1.    Collection of Personal Information from Site Users

Except as specifically set forth herein, LienLog may collect personally identifiable information that you provide to us via registration forms, surveys, applications, purchase forms and other online fields, including your name, postal and/or email address, telephone, fax or mobile numbers and relevant personal information (collectively, the “Personal Information”). You may be required to provide us with the foregoing Personal Information to complete your registration profile, to access certain features on the Site and/or to purchase certain goods and services made available to you on the Site.

In addition, LienLog will collect financial information that you provide to us when transactions are carried out on our Site, which may include your credit card number, bank account details and financial portfolio data (the “Financial Information”). A portion of your Financial Information, while collected by LienLog, may be stored and maintained by a third-party payment processing center.

We will also collect and track information about you that does not typically constitute Personal Information, including your (a) the home server domain names, date and time of your visit, type of computer you used to access the Site, the originating IP address, files downloaded, search engine used, operating system, and type of Web browser for users of the Site; and (b) aggregate and user-specific information regarding which pages a user accesses.  This information is typically collected, analyzed and maintained in aggregated and de-identified formats.

If you do not wish to provide us the Personal Information and/or Financial Information described above and/or if you prevent us from collecting and storing such information in accordance with this Policy, you will be unable to register and/or to obtain products or services from the Site.


2.     How we Collect Information

LienLog will collect the information about you that we’ve described in this Policy through a variety of means, as described below.  Firstly, LienLog will collect the information you submit to us through registration, application and payment forms.

LienLog may place Internet “cookies” or other similar authenticating or tracking technologies on your computer’s and/or devices’ hard drive. Internet cookies are small amounts of data that contain a unique identifier that many web sites frequently send to your web browser to be stored on your computer’s hard drive in order to save data about you, such as your name, password, user-name, screen preferences, and the pages of a site you have viewed. When you revisit the Site, LienLog may recognize you by your Internet cookies and customize your experience accordingly. You may decline Internet cookies by using the appropriate feature of your Web browser software, if available, although doing so will preclude you from using many of the features and functions on the Site which rely on the use of cookies and other similar technologies.

When a user performs a search within the Site, LienLog may record information identifying the user or linking the user or to the search performed and recording information related to the search request.

In addition, we may use pixel tags, web beacons, flash objects and other technologies in connection with some Site pages, downloadable mobile applications and as part of LienLog’s online authentication process to help us recognize and your device when you return to the Site.


3.    Use of Personal Information Collected

Our use of your Personal information that we collect in the manner described above will always comply with applicable laws. 

The user information that we collect will be used by LienLog for a limited number of purposes, including: recordkeeping, editorial and feedback purposes, marketing and promotional purposes, statistical analysis of users’ behavior, product development, content improvement, or to customize the content and layout of the Site.

We may use your personal information: to respond to your inquiries and fulfill your requests; to send you important information regarding the Site, our services, changes to our terms, conditions and policies and/or other administrative information; to allow you to apply for one of our programs or products, and to evaluate your eligibility therefor; to allow you to participate in surveys, sweepstakes, contests and other promotions, and to administer these activities; to allow you to use LienLog’s online products, tools, features and applications on the Site; for registration related activities (i.e., renewal notices); and for our internal business purposes, such as data analysis, audits, developing new products, enhancing our Site and offerings, improving our services, identifying usage trends and determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns; 

In addition to the foregoing, LienLog will use your Personal Information to maintain regular contact with you, but not to market new products and services to you that we think will be of particular interest to you unless you confirm your willingness via an affirmative opt-in mechanism.


4.     Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties

Personal Information and Financial Information about our users is an important component of our business, and we are not in the business of selling or renting it to others. We share customer information only as described below and with subsidiaries and affiliates of LienLog that either are subject to this Policy or follow practices at least as protective as those described herein.

Personal information and Financial Information provided through the Site may be used and disclosed to other entities in connection with the operation of the Site, in order to provide the products or services requested and for marketing and promotional purposes.  We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and e-mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, providing search results and links (including paid listings and links), processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. They have access to Personal Information and Financial Information needed to perform their functions, but may not be used for other purposes.

LienLog may also disclose and share with third parties non-identifiable, aggregate information that is collected via our Site, without restrictions.  This information will not include any user’s Personal Information unless they expressly allow us to do so, as described herein.

We release Personal Information and Financial Information when we believe the release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of LienLog’s users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. Obviously, however, this does not include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise disclosing Personal Information and/or Financial Information from users for commercial purposes in violation of the commitments set forth in this Policy.

Identifiable and non-identifiable user information and data may be disclosed or distributed to third parties with which LienLog enters or reasonably may enter into a corporate transaction, such as, for example, a merger, consolidation, acquisition, or asset purchase, or to a third party pursuant to a subpoena, court order, or other form of legal process, in response to a request by or on behalf of any local, state, federal, or other government agency, department, or body, whether or not pursuant to a subpoena, court order, or other form of legal process, or if determined by LienLog in its sole judgment that such disclosure or distribution is appropriate to protect the life, health, or property of LienLog or any other person or entity.

Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when Personal Information about you might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information. 


5.    Security Measures and Communicating with LienLog

LienLog has implemented physical, electronic and procedural security features that are designed to prevent the unauthorized release of or access to personal information. We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. We also reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.

Despite LienLog’s efforts to protect your Personal Information and Financial Information, the confidentiality of any communication or material transmitted to or from LienLog via this Site or via e-mail cannot be and is not guaranteed. Accordingly, LienLog is not responsible for the security of information transmitted via the Internet. 6.    Links to Other Sites 

The Site may also contain links to other sites or advertisements for or placed by third parties, including sites that enable you to purchase third party’s products and services. If you access a third party site from a link on this Site, any information you disclose on that site is not subject to this Policy. It is possible that these links may be used by third parties to collect personal or other information about you. LienLog is not responsible for the privacy practices of such Web sites, advertisers, or third parties or the content of such sites and it is your sole obligation to review and understand the privacy practices and policies of these other web sites. LienLog does not control these third parties’ use of cookies, collection of information, or how they manage such information. It is solely your obligation to review and understand the privacy practices and policies of these other Web sites, advertisers and any third parties.


7.     Comments, Notices and User Content

Any materials or comments, posted to any of the pages on the Site are public. Please refer to Section 6 of the Terms of Use for further details concerning User Content and other materials submitted to the Site. As such, LienLog assumes no liability for the accuracy of such information, no duty to update or correct such information, and no liability for such communications arising under the laws of copyright, libel, privacy, obscenity, or otherwise.

9.     Right to Change Privacy Statement

If you choose to visit our Site, your visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Policy and our Terms of Use, including limitations on damages, resolution of disputes, and application of the law of the State of New Jersey.
